Shaquana Jackson was born in Lafayette, LA. At age ten, on the heels of a tragic accident, Shaquana discovered her love for writing. This God-given talent has led her to begin writing short stories, poetry, television and movie scripts, music, and novels. She hopes to break into the film industry, producing and directing her own feature films and, one day, become a New York Times best-selling author. Shaquana Jackson holds a degree in liberal arts and is a proud mother. Her beautiful daughter, Asia’Lynn, is the inspiration behind the JAS Girlz series. Shaquana Jackson is currently a student at Northwestern State University. She is working on her bachelor's degree in psychology. They currently reside in Abbeville, LA.
